Laser Engraving

Laser engraving gives your tungsten ring that extra special touch for your wedding day, anniversary or any other special occasion.

Because tungsten carbide is so hard, traditional etching doesn't work well on it. Etched lettering on tungsten is usually unclear and jagged, and it can damage the ring. The right way to engrave tungsten is laser engraving, and it's the only kind we do.

Our computer-controlled laser cuts your message into the ring without any physical force, so the lettering comes out crisp, clean and permanent, with no damage to the ring.

How to add engraving

  1. Choose your ring and size.
  2. Under Laser Engraving, select "Yes Please $29.95."
  3. Type your message in the Engraving Text box (up to 45 characters, including spaces).
  4. We engrave the inside of the ring in Block lettering by default. For Script lettering, or to engrave the outside, just tell us in the comments box at checkout.

Our engraving policy

  • Engraving is $29.95 per ring.
  • Up to 45 characters, including spaces.
  • Engraving takes 1–2 business days.
  • Engraved rings are custom-made and can't be returned or exchanged, so please order your true size.
  • Not sure of your size? We can ship your ring first so you can try it on, then you send it back to us to be engraved. Please allow 1–2 days after we receive it for engraving and mailing it back to you.
  • If you'd like engraving on both the inside and the outside, please purchase engraving twice.

Block or Script engraving?

Here is an example of both Block and Script lettering. We see these in person every day, so here's our advice: Block is easier to read, while Script is fancier but a little harder to read. Choose what matters most to you for the perfect engraving. If you'd like a symbol, just type it where you want it in your message. There's no extra charge for symbols.

Can you engrave in other languages?

Yes. We can engrave in any language, including Spanish, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese, at no extra charge. Just enter your text in the Engraving Text box. Please double-check it before checkout, especially for right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic, since copying and pasting them can reverse the order of the characters.
