What is the difference between tungsten and tungsten carbide?

So, what is the difference between tungsten and tungsten carbide? Nothing.

It is just the wording and how people phrase tungsten, every tungsten ring is a tungsten carbide ring.

It would be the same as someone writing LOL for laugh out loud (or as my friend thought, ‘lots of love’)

LOL = Laugh Out Loud

Laugh Out Loud = LOL

 v.s.

Tungsten = Tungsten Carbide

Tungsten Carbide = Tungsten

It is the same exact thing. So when you see someone write ‘Tungsten Carbide Unisex Ring, bla bla bla…. “ they can also say “Tungsten Unisex Ring, bla bla bla…” and it would mean the exact same thing.

It is just the wording that some people like to use. It is that simple. – Really.
